Prepay Meter to Monthly Direct Debit
I would like to swap from a prepayment meter to monthly direct debit. I am currently with Boost/Ovo and have been advised by them they do not do monthly direct debit and their advice is to switch to one of the big 6 on prepayment and then ask that provider to swap to monthly direct debit.
I am looking for advice in which of the big 6 would be best to switch to on prepayment knowing I will be moving to direct debit, any information and help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have their smart meters, then you will be able to move to another supplier. On your leaving date with OVO/Boost, they put your meter into credit mode, to avoid disconnection.
A problem you may have is OVO/Boosts prepay smart meters are listed as prepay on the national database.
If you have key/card meters, then it is more complicated as you have to have a meter change.
