Please can you let me know how I can raise a compliant to the uk call centre , called general number and am getting nowhere . My account has been locked and getting really frustrated with the lack me of support at the end of the phone

Right so where does Amazon fit in here ?
So has your account been locked hence the phone call ?
Whats General Number ?
Do you mean you called a number for Amazon uk ?

Why not explain what led up to the account being locked ?

Did you return alot of items ? 
Amazon can choose to lock account of return rates are at a level isnt acceptable to Amazon.

try emailing they respond pretty fast cs-reply@amazon.co.uk

Thanks just tried that email address and it’s not ‘accepting incoming emails’!
To answer the earlier question I didn’t do anything, my card details needed updating and when I tried to access the account they blocked it and now I got an email that they will close account. 

So just losing my rag with customer service and need an escalation point !

Have you tried the chat option ?

Must be something else going on.
Had they tried taking a payment but couldnt as card details needed updating ?
Ive updated my card details numerous times with no issue hence why Im thinking theres something else here.

Likewise updated my details two weeks ago .
