I have a Halifax share account and SS ISA and want to add NIO to my ISA
When I try and buy the stock if comes up this equity is ineligible for this account any idea why and where is the best place then to buy NIO stock and place in a SS ISA

NIO is not eligible to be held in any ISA. You have to use a normal share dealing account and pay tax on your gains if exceeding the tax-free allowances.0

I brought 300$ of NIO about a week ago on an impulse through etoro.
After doing some research I'm glad I did as they have a big day coming up on Jan 9th so I'm very hopeful on what was a bit of a gamble! But only tine will tell0 -
