Cleaning painted walls.

Any tips? Children have drawn on parts with pen and pencil. So far scrubbing with soap and water has either removed or faded the paint. Wanted to try something before painting over which may leave things looking patchy.

I find baby wipes are good at getting crayon marks off the wall0
