Thanks @marahouti/ @maman for drinking definitely cutting down rather than abstinence, other stuff looking at abstinence 100%. Had a drink tonight too but planning to be back on the wagon tomorrow.4

Unplanned but controlled drinking day yesterday. I'm going to have the rest of the bottle with my Mothers Day dinner this evening. So no more days to report still 11/21. However, next week that frog will be mine 😀.4

12/25 please. Glad I resisted had a bit of a bad day for cravings. Baked cake with son. My 7 year old totally innocently making flour lines FML next moment I was almost on the phone ha laughed at myself later but not that funny in the moment and didn’t quite occur to me why I was so triggered in the moment- anyone dealing with addiction def sometimes the cravings strike at the strangest of times.3

14/29 for me on Sunday, gutted I didn't check in and get my frog.... @marahouti it will be mine too lol
@alt80 addiction is a sly beast and it occurs like that more often than not. It sneaks up outta nowhere. People who have stopped smoking can probably relate, I've been off cigarettes for years but still I can go somewhere and like a concert or a shopping centre I wouldn't normally frequent and suddenly the voice of addiction is right there screaming at me, last time I was here I had a cigarette. Its right there in the forefront of your mind and it's the only thing you can think about... its crazy .... but thats why its called addiction, it never goes away. They say avoid being hungry, lonely or tired because that's when it gets ya!2021 AFDs

@xxlalxx I definitely wish I’d never touched the stuff can tell you that. Only really starting to learn to deal with the cravings in a better way now under the professional help. Didn’t even consider it addiction until very recently tbh know people who do it in bigger quantities than I did but the way I was using was all the hallmarks of addiction had been for years.
Unfortunately I’m tired a lot not sure why but can relate to the tiredness and hunger making it worse. Never lonely with my son just ashamed have a lot of thoughts that someone like me shouldn’t be allowed to have children know that just can’t let my wife and son go so doing my best to get myself into a better place.3 -
