Hi all, 2 today - out gigging tonight so will (probably) be surrounded by drunk people. Amusing!

Cue slightly enebriated young lady - "Can you do that shong, y'know? I dunno what it's called or who it's by (giggle)  but it's got 'Luv' in it (hic)!"  Ah, that one.
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!

2/25 please cathybird. Thank you. X

My Goddaughter is getting married in August, it was one of the days I had pencilled in as a planned drinking day during my sober summer. I received the invitation this morning with a note about arrangements, including the fact that  no alcohol would be served. Her future husband is a recovering alcoholic and they have decided that their wedding will be an alcohol free day. He is actually fine with other people drinking around him but this is their special day and will be as they wish. Hurray for them 👏

  • 1 please, woke up early and thought about going out to the park run but had a nice lie in instead. Sometime you just have to say sod it.
Nothing to see here, move along.
