Exactly that! Been home about an hour!
Oh had a drink (not a lot) in the evenings (Menorca was HOT!) so back on track today with 10/16. So still no alc' for me in England since April 2021. Yep - happy with that!

I like the idea that only alcohol consumed within these shores counts as drinking, Rob - there’s logic in there somewhere! Did it feel a little odd having a first drink after abstaining for so long?

      Oh I'm not saying it "didn't count", it plainly did. But on hol's, we do what we don't do at home. It didn't seem odd, I was partly hindered by my room not having a fridge so couldn't keep non-alc' drinks cold. It's not that I drank a lot anyway, but after just one beer (Cold in 32°C heat)   I felt somewhat squiffed (in a jolly way!).  I was on my own, not driving (Menorca buses are great!).

Back to AFDs here, starting yesterday. so 11/29  and 437 UKAFDs in a row! so no Gold Star for me - in over a year!
