20/28 for today (numbers now correct!). Alas no fuzzy penguins for me but still, not a bad attempt,
Early up today - Smart Meter fitting and I'm first on the list! In about 5 minutes, actually. Ooh!
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!3 -
Committing early for 9/13 please.
Steameh I have heard an argument against AF beer and wine as you need to change enough not to miss the booze but over my years on here some people have found it really helpful. Are you worried about replacing one craving with another? They don't make much difference to me and personally they don't often take away a craving for booze. But mine is not the example to follow on here! In pubs I find I get bored with fizzy soft drinks so have occasionally drunk a Becks Blue. My tipple of choice is white wine, especially Chardonnay, but the couple of types of AF wine I tasted were rank and way too sweet. I would find it a more difficult issue if there was an AF wine I really liked at about the same or slightly less than the real one. Would that trade off be helpful? Not enough caffeine in me to tackle that hypothetical question.

I love my dancing penguins cathybird - they are brilliant 😍.
Declaring early on 11/10 for me today and can I set my usual target of 10 for February please cathybird.
My usual tipple is wine - Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio and I haven’t found any AF wines that are even passable. I tend to just drink slimline tonic with a slice of lemon or lime if I am out and not drinking - other than that it tends to be just water if I want a cold drink at home.4 -
Good morning everyone. Goodness what a lot of posts!
Annie that sounds like a great party; if I am ever offered ginseng vodka I will gracefully decline 😬.
I like Heineken 0 and always have some in the house these days. Beck's Blue is ok but I too prefer it from the bottle, I think it is because it has a peculiar smell which is more obvious in a glass 😕. On my drinking days I drink red wine but there are no drinkable AF wines so when I'm not drinking I have the said Heineken, tonic or sparkling water or (a particular favourite) Fentimans ginger beer with a slice of lime.
I am 25/28 for yesterday please cathybird. Thank you. X3 -
