I had some blood tests last month just for a checkup and when I rang up the next day I spoke to someone at the GP surgery who said my liver test result was abnormal and I'd have to speak to the GP about it. It took about three weeks to get the appointment but when I did speak to him he said there was nothing wrong with my test result at all, the staff member had just made a mistake and he'd tell them off (nicely). Good news, but I was still a bit freaked out about the whole thing and I'm in the frame of mind where I'd rather avoid alcohol!

Can see why you’d be concerned about that cathybird, even more so with a three week wait before you could see anyone about it. But very good to hear it was all clear 🙂

2/29 for me today please; caught up with a friend yesterday evening and had a few drinks, first time since the beginning of April, think I went 82 or 83 days between drinks in the end. It was all very restrained but I shan’t be drinking again this weekend - whatever the result in the football later!

Good morning everyone and thank you for keeping us on the straight and narrow Cathybird,  although in my case, more narrow than straight.
Unfortunately I fell in the final straight and so ended June on 14/16.
I haven't had any days for July yet 😐

Chalking up my first day 1/20, was going to drink but my wife wasn't so I didn't bother
