I have started keeping a spending diary to keep my unnecessary spending down and I don't want to mess it up with unnecessary spending on  booze. 
Finished all I had in the house and going to try for a few more AF days This month to help keep my spending under control.

17/24 AFDs today

So AF yesterday and declaring early for today. I'm driving so can declare as I wouldn't have even 1 drink before driving so 10/18 - hurray double figures!

Morning all, 18/24 yeah!   43 AFDs in a row,  only once or twice have I fancied a beer but after about ½ hour, the desire went. I now feel drinking is pointless! Costs money, does you no good, waste of calories, can't drive, feel rough next day, people say and do things they wouldn't sober (guilty!). Some say "It's an escape" but it's not because your problem will still be there next day!

Ah well, philosophy over, have a good day, all!

Some very good points there Rob. I must admit I still enjoy drinking but these days I try not to drink very often or very much. I want to feel that I can if I want to but most of the time I choose not to. Congratulations on 43 (and counting) AF days. X
