If you were lucky enough to follow Martins tip and got the £50 in vouchers for appling and using a Barclaycard, ditch it straight away! I wanted to apply for the 2% cash back Barclaycard but when I called they said I had to cancel my card and could not apply for it for 3 months from the date of cancelation.

However, an easy way round was to get my wife to apply and they gave her one of the cash back cards and I am an additional card holder!
