Asda Petrol pump?

Hi went to get petrol today and put my visa card in pump to pay.  It took my pin but then I noticed as I went to fill up that the pump handle was fixed and there was obviously a problem with it and a cone by it  which I did not notice at first.  My question is, because I had put my pin in and removed my card but did not actually proceed to fill up, will the next person be able to get petrol (once its fixed) from my card details?  Or does it cancel out automatically if no petrol is taken?  I know it all sounds stupid and it was a stupid thing by me.  I ended up driving back round and filling up at the pump just before the broken one.  I have also emailed ASDA head office as local branch was not accepting calls.

You may see a £1 pre auth charge appear as pending on the card which will drop off after a few days.
