I've got the majority of the ones I have bought already wrapped. Need to finalise the xmas gifts.

@Gettingtherequickly - I also put together gifts for each household with a separate bag for each. I use the Xmas re-usable bags from supermarkets that you put your shopping in. I usually buy the ones Tesco do, they've often cheaper than gift bags, larger and  re-usable.
@G@Gettingtherequickly I have used these bags before too - or ones from Poundstretcher I think (found one with a better design on)

I have a santa one still that I'm going to use for DN*2 gift this year as a) it's a little on the large side b) it's a joint gift in two parts so easy to keep together and go under the tree like that.

Planning to start some wrapping tonight. Have realised that I have a hair appt next week which will be the last time I see my hairdresser before Xmas so her gifts will be going already. Plus there's some to post.

I'm off to Scotland today to see DD. We are going to look round the Edinburgh Xmas market. Depending on what happens when I pack - lightly I'm staying in her room, hotels were soooooo expensive and I only returned to the work force  last week! I will see if I can also take one of her Xmas presents with me. It's (an expensive!) yoga mat. They start each day of drama school with yoga and it'll be heavy for her to cart back on the train with all her other stuff after spending Xmas here.

@Spendless have a lovely time in bonnie Scotland. That's a really good idea to take the yoga mat up to her in advance of xmas. I'm sure she'll have loads to take back as it is.

Hope everyone is doing ok.  Really not feeling it at all this year but I am done. I  have a few little bits left to wrap and the tree is up exceptionally early for me. Can't believe we are only  three weeks  away

    That’s it I’m done now!
Was just waiting for OH’s rugby calendar- it was very late this year but I’ve finally got it. The rugby club are doing a pop up shop in John Lewis which is hugely helpful- I’m away a lot these next few weeks so reluctant to buy online and the club shop is really difficult to get to.

It’s all wrapped up- I also bought a few bits when I was at mum’s last week. We went to Boundary Mills (like an outlet place but all under one roof) and I bought OH some socks and a thermal vest and some long Johns as they were good ones- Heat Holders- and on offer, buy one get one half price. I also got him some really good loose tea from Fenwicks when I went to get my friend’s coffee and I also bought him two big bottles of Nando’s sauce from Morrison’s when mum and I went there. I also got my last present from him- I was going to get some perfume but when we went into the Molton Brown outlet I fell in love with a gorgeous candle so I got that and some shower gel instead.

His phone has caused some drama (Argos sent the wrong one, worth about fifty quid, and charged my mum’s Argos card that I bought it on the full amount- close to five times that amount) I think it’s sorted now! I got him a SIM only contract as well as the PAYG sim he has at the minute isn’t going to cut it with this new smartphone.

Tree has been up for a couple of weeks, I’ve delivered some presents (to my brother) already; I’ve got some ready to post and I’ve got some to take next week. Christmas food shop is done as well- good to go!

Brief drop in because I#, getting ready for work but I wanted to say I visited DD this weekend. Due to the expensive price of hotel rooms, I stopped in her room instead and slept on one of the satin pillowcases! It was amazing. They are lovely to sleep on, cool to the touch. Obviously one night isn't enough for me to talk about personal experience of the skin/hair claims but I can certainly say they are a different pillowcase experience and I want one of my own now! DD says they're on the wish list of several people she follows on social media, so I'd say from tweens/teens they'll be interested in the potential skin/hair benefits and at slightly younger they'll like the feel of having a 'luxury' pillowcase, so perfect for your nieces @kerri_gt  and I expect you to be a very popular and 'cool' Auntie picking up a current trend for them.

I'm also glad I got DS (plus girlfriend) one. As a little boy he loved his 'special' pillow and that was because it was handmade (ny my MIL) from a silky feel material and he's always been 'hot bodied' so liked it being cool. When it fell apart she had no similar material left so made him another one in a different material and though he liked it, he never took to it as much. It was the first thing I thought of when I slept on the one in daughter's room.
