No selling history

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-87974584.html

We like this property on rightmove but I cant find any sale history for it on rightmove or zoopla.. it's no 4 so I did specific search.
Would this be as it's been owned by the same person for so long?

Yes, my parents lived in their house for over 50 years, we lived in our last house for 30 years.

It certainly has the air of something which hasn't changed hands in a long time. You can always try checking the Land Registry (if it's registered), not that anything other than very recent sale prices are relevant to the current value anyway.

But no chalk marks on the floor at least :)
Looks very much like the first house I bought in Twickenham. £32,000 at the time!

That's also very like the 2nd house we bought in the early 1970s in Crosby (North Liverpool) for £11250. Fabulous home, really well built & laid out. Oh and my son was born there in 1977. Very happy memories.

Several houses along my road do not have any sales history showing at the Land Registry. Maybe the last sale predates the LR recording the data, the property was inherited, or has been owned by the same person for yonks.

Thanks all. It's a lovely street but it needs alot of work. Wondering how low is acceptable to go on offer!

    First listed for sale: 29/12/20

If you don't want to wait, and risk losing it, you're going to have to go very near asking price.
