Combi Boiler Query

Hi,
My ideal logic 24 combi boiler is now 5 years old.  The pressure valve has always been at 1 and the boiler is serviced every year.  However, this year I had 2 gas engineers turn up to service it, as 1 was a new guy/trainee.  They did the service/checks etc, even went out to see the gas meter (don't really them doing that before) and simulated some fault/error codes to come up to simulate issues etc.  Engineers said boiler was ok, no issues detected with it and it has been working ok since, but I have noticed the pressure is now at 0.5 as opposed to 1, which it has always been at.  Would this be due to some tests they were running to simulate fault codes etc and just forgot to top it back up?  Just wondering if it has now developed a issue or not? I don't see any damp patches/water marks around and no error codes on boiler so don't believe I have any water leaks and its been sat at 0.5 for 2 weeks now without dropping lower which makes me thing it is a result of the service and not a actual leak/fault.
Do I need to set the boiler to a particular mode and then top up the water pressure or can I just top it up in it's regular mode it is in now?
To date, I have had no need to touch the boiler apart from when first moved in, I set the programmer for the days/times to come on, that's it.  I looked round and found a gas company to service it and have used them every year to date and never had any issues.
Many thanks
Kev

I'd fill it back to 1 bar and just check it periodically. When you do that though just go round the radiators and check for air locks, you can sometimes get air out but maybe not enough to warrant topping the system back up at the fill point. Most of all if it's working correctly and the rads are hot all over then fine, it's doing it's job

It's possible he bled the rads at the service, but failed to top up the circuit again. It takes less than a minute to do so.

Didn't see them touch any radiators, just the boiler and went out to gas meter.

They visit the meter to check for leaks from your gas pipework, they should do it at every service. It won't affect the systems water pressure.
