Thanks Saving Holmes.
I need to set myself some targets for this week
1. Think of useful things I can do that will save me money in the future when I am away next weekend and passing a few places, things like - drop off presents and cards to relatives, look for a chinese supermarket, check charity shops
2. Finish using up freezer food, fill with bottles of water as much as possible, hopefully switch it off!
3. sort pension/ investment plan
4. keep up with routine for everything as it helps me get more done and remain pretty healthy!

Having a "highlight" for each day is on my planner, but you are right I really haven't been diligent with it.I'd love to do lodger instead, but didn't get any interest so I e put room back on Airbnb but for a higher price. We will see!
EH not much target achieving today/ more like fire fighting!!Save £20,000 in 2025. April 2k, May 3.5k6 -

So I had a whole week of fighting fires! Just really, really busy.
Various things went well, I did a top up shop but got it delivered with a few stock up items to get free delivery.
I'm taking the kids away this weekend, and it's costing more than I thought as I booked a hotel with a pool rather than a cheaper chain hotel, it seemed a better deal £35 more, we can go swimming twice and that includes a breakfast which I think was going to be about £25 with the chain.
Other activities cost more with peak and off peak prices, sigh. We will have fun though!Save £20,000 in 2025. April 2k, May 3.5k6 -
