Masonry bee holes?

I noticed an area of brickwork that needs repointing. Are the holes from masonry bees? There's lots of them but only down this one strip of wall.

Could be where the line pins were knocked in to run in the brickwork for an extension.

...or the bees are very regimented in their burrowing!

It gives the time of year if it is them, that they would make or use the holes

But I agree, if those are the only holes and in a straight line it looks like human activity. If there are others elsewhere it might be bees.
