Santander Balance Transfer Delay/Time Frame

Has anyone done a balance transfer from another card to Santander CC? Online it says next working today the funds will be here, but its now been a few days and nothing yet. Appreciate its Xmas and Covid situation but i did another balance transfer from Virgin which was instant.

Has anyone done a BT with Santander and has any experience of this? This is my first time with Sant

Just on a separate note... I was approved today for a BT card with Santander. But I cannot for the life of me see any reference to what the credit limit is, do I need to wait for the card / letters to arrive or am I missing something ?

Yes they wont tell you until you receive the card. However, it maybe already in your login page if you are a customer. If you are a customer then go to the login page and it will Display your CC. If not, you have to wait till your card comes to create the login

Thanks not an existing customer so will wait for the paperwork to land.

With Santander you get emails. Usually a day after acceptance in an order like so - 

1. C5 (confirmation)
2. D3 (copy of agreement)
3. D7 (approval showing your limit and any DD you set up at application)
4. OL (online banking info)
5. Santander Card Despatch Notice
6. D8 (once card is activated)

it's same process for existing or new customers. Assuming you gave an email address at application? Check junk mail but really your emails come the day after you applied and if existing it'll show online banking later that day / on 3rd day. 

Plus they send a couple of texts like so - 

Regards BT's - if you do it online once you've got your card and activated it, before 5pm, the funds will appear the same day to the card you BT'd. It's extremely fast. I'm an existing customer & have 3 of their cards now so not sure if that helps.

You'll get the card in a matter of days. I opened the red BT one on Xmas Eve (Thursday) and card came on Weds - first postal day. So it's fast once approved.
