vat reclaim on fees within sipp including property

Options
My sipp includes cash, shares and commercial property. My sipp has been paying annual vat inclusive fees to my provider for both sipp admin and property charges since buying property in 2015 when I registered for vat. The invoices have never been sent to me by my provider until I recently realized from bank statements that these fees have included vat so I have not been including these in my vat returns for the last 5 years..
i now have copies of these invoices.
My questions are as follows.
i assume that I can reclaim vat on on the Property Charge fees but probably not on the admin fees as the latter will also relate to other assets within the sipp. Is that correct?
Can I simply account for the last 5 years of annual property charges in my next vat return.
If not do try and discuss this with HMRC and/or do I have a case against my provider?
Comments and suggestions would be most welcome.

You say 'you' registered for VAT. Is your SIPP registered for VAT?

I am also a bit confused. Surely the charges for running your advanced SIPP pension are for your personal benefit rather than a business expense?

you, your business and your pension are not the same things.  Each is its own entity.

    1. Not correct.
    2. No.
    3. No.
    4. Get some proper advice - you don't understand what you're doing (join rather a lot of other SIPP holders, especially those with property included in their SIPP) and are hopelessly confused about VAT in relation to you, your business and your SIPP.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
