I'm in tier 4 and the only people who can get a free test without symptoms are selected key workers.  Certain regions, like Liverpool, were selected for mass testing but as almost all of England is now in either tier 3 or 4, it's certainly not the case that almost anyone in England can get a free test without symptoms.

I did not say anyone in England can get a free test, I only said the area I live in were doing them.

I did not say anyone in England can get a free test, I only said the area I live in were doing them.

You did say you were under the impression that it was being offered as standard in tier 3 areas.
