Just had my monthly statement for gas from my supplier ( Gulf) - I had a bigger credit than I had calculated (its normally only a few p out). Drilling down ,they have used a CV of 38.7 which is lower than I can ever remember. Briefly looking at CV stats. it looks like my region of South Wales has the lowest CVs this month by some distance. Why would that be ?

Could it be that because Milford Haven is an import point for gas from the Middle East, which may have a lower CV than North Sea gas?
