Can anyone help me please.
I have a Toshiba satellite and keep getting the “Your PC ran into a problem” message on a loop.
I have tried searching Google for a fix, but I don’t get the option to restart or repair.
The error message appears, then disappears and the Toshiba screen comes up for a few seconds and then the loop just keeps going.
I can’t even boot it up in safe mode.
Is it salvageable ?

You will need to re-install (repair) windows (this assumes the HDD has not failed).
Do you have the original installation media (eg DVD)? If so, boot from that and repair the installation.
If not, create one using the method in the link above.
PS do you know if it was running windows 7 or windows 10?0 -
PS your Toshiba may contain a recovery partions - this might help

I have had a very similar blue screen of death (BSOD) a couple of days ago. It was a sod to try and fix! (Not always that bad fortunately!)Good planning meant I had a recent backup of the windows partition holding all of windows, programs, settings, passwords etc (data is separate on another disk) and was quickly reinstated with Macrium Reflect.Always think seriously about using that method. There are windows tools and methods but method and Reflect does not loose any data, programme, settings etc. if backed up regularly.Good you are back up and running!0

The way to enter Safe Mode in Windows 10, if it won't even reach the login screen, is to boot the PC then deliberately force it to turn off during the boot, and repeat that, and on the third boot it should enter the recovery options menu.Yes, it's daft as a brush and goes against years of being told to properly shut down our computers. And I don't know what you're supposed to do with a PC that boots super-fast. But that's what Microsoft decided to do. The old way of hitting F8 was removed.
