Toddler Investment

I've a one year old granddaughter living in Europe at the moment and I would like to put a small amount of money aside for her each month as a long term investment.
I was thinking a tracker fund might be a suitable vehicle for this.
Any suggestions, suitable funds or alternatives?
Thanks

INRG. HMWO.Both trackers. My grandkids have these and a few others.VERY different investments. "tracker" doesn't mean anything, no doubt you could track the Bolivian copper futures index. Would that be a good investment just because its a tracker ? What important with a tracker is what it tracks. So start there. Only then decide if you want a tracker.1

iShares Global Clean Energy UCITS ETF - Why? Because it's new trending thing right now? Just curious why artificially limit your exposure to something "clean", "responsible", "sustainable", or whatever marketing pitch is nowadays. To me that's unnecessary deviation from the benchmark.

When I first read the title of the thread, I thought there was going to be some advice that you only need a couple minutes to make a toddler, then wait for about 9 months
In all serious though, if you're looking for something to invest into and forget, don't go with the above trends, go with something like a FTSE all world Tracker - Vanguard and HSBC do some good ones with low fees.2
