EasyJet Christmas Eve flight

I booked an EasyJet flight to Belfast at the last minute to visit family over Christmas however the travel advice changed an I could no longer travel but the flight left.
Can I claim a refund or flight voucher? Failing that could I claim some of the tax on the ticket back if I didn’t fly?

Any request for a voucher or change of flight due to COVID lockdowns needed to have been done at least 2 hours before the flight departed according to their website. If you didn’t contact them at that point then you have little recourse other than maybe the taxes. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Legally you're not entitled to any refund - but easyJet may have their own policy.
The post above mine cover that; if that's the case and you didn't get in touch then you're likely out of luck.0 -
Assuming this is a U.K. domestic service then the APD is £13 each way.0

Even though the flight left, if you could not travel due to coronavirus restrictions, it is possible that the contract was "frustrated" and you may be entitled to a refund.0

No, OP purchased the right to use a seat on a flight. OP was unable to do so and therefore if anyone is in breach of contract.Streaky_Bacon said:Even though the flight left, if you could not travel due to coronavirus restrictions, it is possible that the contract was "frustrated" and you may be entitled to a refund.
Easyjet offered the service that OP paid for and therefore any refund will be subject to the terms and conditions that OP and Easyjet agreed to between themselves.💙💛 💔0
