Wet walls - please help!

Hello,
Please can someone advise what might be causing wet walls in my upstairs rooms, just on the external walls? I have attached photos- it’s not always this bad, this was on a day when it was very cold outside. Usually I just get a bit of condensation and black spot mould where the wall meets the ceiling on these external walls and keep it at bay with mould spray but would love to know if there’s something I could do to stop it from happening. I do air the rooms upstairs daily but this has never happened in any other house I have lived in. Thank you in advance.

If you have loft insulation check it doesn't go all the way under the eaves. There needs to be a decent gap to let air flow and prevent condensation.1

That's some seriously bad condensation, you need to get some air flow into those rooms.0

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -
I tend to agree with FreeBear. It doesn't look like condensation to me, more like a leak of some sort.
Does the amount of water vary depending on rainfall? Are there any water pipes above the ceiling in that area?
Definitely requires a close inspection of the attic area above that ceiling.2 -
Almost certainly an external leak. Far too much well-defined, localised water.Any chance of photos from the outside of that corner, CB?0

I'll also say external leak, related to guttering. Have a look at what is going on outside...

Over grown moss weeds etc in the guttering, the rain cant flow to the down pipes so it backs up into the eaves and down the walls.
Get a local window cleaner, (they usually do gutter clearing too) to clean them out, about 20 quid should do it.0
