Evening
looking for some advice please, apologies if this has been covered in previous threads. My daughter is 18 today and I’m looking for some suggestions on how to invest the 25k from her CTF. She is a sensible girl and knows this is for her future so no plans for short term access.
Any advice would be appreciated
thanks very much

If some or all of this is not needed for 5 or preferably more years consider investing in a S&S product via a Lifetime ISA (for a 25% government bonus on up to £4k per tax year to use towards a property purchase up to £450k or withdraw from age 60) or a S&S ISA. Provided she invests in a suitable well diversified low cost fund on a good platform there's a high chance the money will grow faster than cash savings rates.1

My daughter is in the same position and also wants this to be for her future. I think we have decided on a Lifetime ISA - just need to research which one. We were thinking of buying premium bonds with the rest rather than a S&S ISA. Then she can maybe move £4k per year into the Lifetime ISA.
That's the plan so far but I'd be glad to hear of any other suggestions or ideas!1 -
Thanks both, appreciate you taking the time to reply. I’m saving hard to fund her thru uni so her CTF really is hopefully for her to have a deposit on her own place when the time is right.0
