Hose pipes

Hi all. I am looking for a retractable wall fixed hosepipe. I need it for use with a pressure washer. I have looked at a few and the description mentions the hose has a working/burst pressure of 8bar. Will that be ok to use with a pressure washer? I haven't a clue what bar pressure they are.
Kind regards Jeff.

I’ve used a hosepipe with my karcher pressure washer for years, no idea what the burst pressure is, I would imagine almost any hosepipe will be ok with a pressure washer1

Are you referring to the hosepipes that expand and collapse back when you release them?
This doesn't make sense? Is the wall retractable, is the hosepipe fixed?jeff_chandler said:Hi all. I am looking for a retractable wall fixed hosepipe.

This does make sense. It's a wall-mounted reel with a spring. Like a retractable power cord in a vacuum cleaner.

The pressure can be more than 100bar. Usual garden hoses aren't even close to this. They often burst even just from mains water pressure (few bar).

Do you mean tap to the pressure washer or a reel of pressure washer hose?
If the first the hoselock karcher or even amazon own if the later then the pressure washer manufacturer0 -
I have seen a few on e bay where the pipe itself is housed. This fixes to the wall. some of the pipes are auto retractable back into their housing, others you have to wind manually. I have used a hosepipe for years with a pressure washer but the pipe i have has kinked and I'm for ever trying to get the kinks from it. I'm now looking for one that is housed and fixes to a wall. The pipe I need replacing has been fine with a pressure washer, made by hozelock.0

The pipe to the pressure washer doesn't have to be anything special, it's the pipe from the pressure washer to the lance that needs to handle pressure.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.2

It's the pipe connecting the washer to a tap. Normal low pressure - any garden hosepipe is good for this. The flow is low, so it can be a 'compact' (12.5mm?) hosepipe.0

Any standard hosepipe will be fine with a pressure washer. The pressure output of the washer has very little bearing on the required input (hose) pressure.

Just get a decent, no-kink hosepipe and a good manual reel that you can attach to the wall. Don't bother with the auto reels as they tend to fail pretty quickly. For a reel I'd recommend a Claber but the metal Hozelok or Gardena ones are OK. For hosepipes look out for the Fitt NTS Wintech hoses, you can get them from Screwfix but sometimes they pop up on Aldi/Lidl.jeff_chandler said:I have seen a few on e bay where the pipe itself is housed.
