I caved and went for the 4 months of movies and entertainment passes for £39.99.

No where near as cheap as £1.80, but still a saving of over 50% on normal prices and 20% on the passes that you used to be able to buy from Argos/Currys (if you can still get them)

We only have the entertainment pass. Each time we press to cancel it comes back with another offer. The latest offer we got £1 per month for 6 months, that ends in May.
Hopefully we get it renewed at s decent price, TBH £1 is the best we've had, previous offers were, £1.80 then £1.60 per month for around 3 months each time.
Crikey those are decent offer prices. I’m currently on a 6 month offer at £5.99pm and thought it was good as regular price is £9.99. It’s due to end early March.

Have you ever cancelled during your offer period and got a better offer? I know it goes through do you really want to cancel - if it gives a higher price can you say no and get a better offer or does it just let you go?

  • Hi
My Now TV deal for entertainment and cinema finished mid December so I cancelled my subscription. I was initially offered a deal but I wasn't quick enough to take it up.
I renewed the entertainment pass & paid £9.99 but I cancelled again. So far I've not been offered any deals to renew.
We've currently got netflix & Disney+ so I currently don't think I'll be renewing unless they make me an offer.
So I think the days of Now TV deals may have come to an end.
    Cheers

Hi, hearing this makes me think I did the right thing (for me) in renewing my passes at the offer price given to me.

A lot of my TV viewing is on the Sky channels, such as Sky One, Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness, plus SyFy and Fox.  So, for me, using Netflix or Disney+ just wouldn't give me the shows I like to watch.

However, it is good that you have alternative options

Just to update. I came to the end of my £5.99 Entertainment Pass offer for 6 months on the 9th February. On 10th February I clicked through to cancel and was offered £5pm for the next 6 months. I'm happy with that especially as I'd used my Tesco Vouchers to get triple credit. So that £5pm actually costs me £1.66pm roughly.

Just a pity that you can no longer use Tesco Vouchers with Now TV but I've got quite a bit of credit to use up as applied before the cut off date at end of January.

I was offered £5 pm down from 5.99pm but went ahead with cancellation. For how little i've been using it I wanted a much lower offer.
I have loads to watch on the free services and been with Now TV a long time, which means i've watched most of their existing content that I wanted to.
Only a few shows i'll miss, I can easily re join for a short time to watch those.

  • I got a Sky sports offer last week - £19.99 a month for 2 months. Still trying to get VM to offer it to me for £20 a month or less.  My 6 month cinema deal ends next month so will see what's on offer, but probably cancel as I think great movies will be few and far between on Sky this year.
