New washing machine - clicking noise

I've just had a new washing machine installed and noticed that it makes a clicking noise when the drum starts turning, and a slightly quieter/duller noise when it stops turning. It's hard to tell when it's coming from but seems loudest at the top, above the drum. It seems to work fine otherwise - is this clicking normal or is it something to be concerned about/something to contact the retailer/manufacturer over? I've never experienced this with a washing machine before.

Unfortunately there is more than one manufacturer of washing machines and they make more than one model so you may need to provide just a few more vital pieces of information if you want help.

It's a Baumatic BWMI148D. I didn't provide these details in the original post as I didn't think it was likely that anyone on this forum would be familiar with my specific model, given the number of washing machines on the market, and from past experiences washing machine troubleshooting is pretty generalised.

Have the transport brackets been removed?A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
If you have removed the brackets , did it make this noise from the start?
Bra wires were a source of clicking in our machine. I eventually got it to stick back out through a hole in the drum and pul it out with pliers.0 -
Thanks for your responses. I checked and the transport brackets have been removed, and it has made the noise from the start. I actually ran the machine without anything in it to clean the machine so there shouldn't be anything stuck inside. I will run again with clothes inside in the next day or so and see if the noise persists.

It could just be the belt ( assuming it’s not direct drive) , it might need adjustment but I doubt it , it might take a few washes to settle, have you rang baumatic ( hoover/candy) and see if they can help0

We've had a Miele for 15 years (the same one! ) and that has always made a clicking noise before the drum starts to turn.
This has never been a problem and I just assumed it was something to do with the mechanics of the machine.
If your machine is cleaning and working as expected then I wouldn't worry too much.0
