Hello, pay day has come around again and I have just had a lovely restful bank holiday although I can definitely sense the transition to Autumn (as an Autumn baby this suits me fine 😊 not so much DH).

We have started our plan to increase the ops and SIPP contributions this month with the aim to get below 130k by end of December 24, so will see how we go and if we can keep this up.

    paid today: £450.69
    paid (cumulative): £1403.58/1426 (98.43%)
    remaining: £22.42

Back to school and DHs work starts in a weeks time so next challenge is to get us all back into that routine!

    Mortgage @ 2018 £225000
    Mortgage @ 1 Jan 24 £142600

  • It's double child benefit month (it's paid 4 weekly, so one month per year you get an 'extra' one) so I'm popping that in the pot straight away.

Finally starting to make some serious progress on this

    paid (cumulative): £542/930 (58.3%)
    remaining: £388

Pay day has arrived and it definitely feels like Autumn has arrived with it! If we could just have a bit more autumn sunshine that would be lovely 🙂

Oct pay day has arrived 🙂 Feels like time is racing away from me as not yet planned anything for DS 16th birthday and 🎄 however a busy few weeks coming up. DS off on a school trip,  boiler being replaced and (if it arrives) kitchen flooring being replaced. All paid/saved for but still an ouch moment when the cash leaves the accounts. Boiler replacement wasn't planned so means no sun holiday before xmas. I've told DH to whack the temperature up to 28, close his eyes and channel being somewhere hot 😂

All on track though, and good to have these things done before Xmas and when it's less of an emergency. Still continuing with my trial of larger OPs to reach 130k by end of December. Had to hold my nerve this month as the temptation was strong to divert it to savings however I will thank myself later I am sure.
