Morning all, can't believe how quickly February has disappeared! It has been a very wet one here, so hoping we get a sunnier March. It looks like the 🌞 is trying to peak out today and DH and I managed a cold but sunny walk along a beach yesterday (helped by a hot cup of tea and a bacon bap 😊). It was lovely to be reminded of how truly 'rich' my life is and how it has nothing to do with money and work and all to do with my environment and the people I share it with. Definitely gave me a much needed boost.

Payday today so regular payment and op has gone out and just made my 1% op to neaten those numbers and push us a step closer:

    paid today: £71.49
    paid (cumulative): £146.27/1426 (10.26%)
    remaining: £1279.73

Hoping to squeeze into the 130's next month - am very excited.

    Rara x

sympathies on the weather front - we've had the wettest February on record here with 2 and a half times the normal rainfall.  Rain on 27 days out of 29 has become more than a little grating, and it's made the winter gloom much worse.  So nice to see glimpses of blue sky today.  Tea and bacon butties at the beach sounds dreamy!

Those significant threshold are so motivating aren't they?  My payment today takes my student loan below £1k.  I'm chucking the spare money from our 2 council tax free months at it, so it should be fully repaid by the start of May.  I'll then snowball my payments to the mortgage.

Wow, @pavlovs_dog you can really sense the speed and momentum of your snowballing effect already. And what motivation to know you will have slayed the student loan!

Morning all,  I hope you're all having a great weekend and have some sunshine 🙂

Payday is not until tomorrow however my bank is showing my end of March mortgage amount already. I just sneaked into the 130s 🥳 so I couldn't resist the opportunity to make an early OP to round down the number, adding a bit of extra from our recent solar payment:

    paid today: £168.38
    paid (cumulative): £314.65/1426 (22%)
    remaining: £1111.35

Loving the morning sunshine today, and maybe it's the spring equinox however I am definitely feeling more energetic. Long may it last!
