re tee shirts - I had a look at the men’s rations and a vest is 4 coupons. Given that tee shirts originated as men’s vests would 4 coupons be fair for an absolutely plain short sleeve tee with no decoration? The coupons were based on labour and materials and if anything the material cost for a woman’s tee would be slightly less. I agree a long sleeve tee would be 5It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!8

Nothing to do with coupons, but those of you kind enough to comfort me about my friends: her husband died last night, a little sooner than expected but the hospice was able to get her there in time to be with him as he died. Her own major surgery is early next week... I can't help thinking she will possibly welcome the general anaesthetic, just to make everything stop for a bit...

So sorry to hear your news Laura, big hugs for you and your friend. She must be devastated, and to be at the start of her own battle will be very hard for her but at least having the opportunity to say goodbye was a good thing. I know you will be supporting her as much as you can but remember to look after yourself as well. Take care x9

Oh, Laura! I am so sorry to hear your news @Laura_Elsewhere. At least your friends got to say goodbye. She must be heartbroken. I’m glad you’re there for her. She’s got the funeral and a major operation to face. If there is one consolation in these COVID times, nobody gets visitors in hospital, so she won’t have that daily reminder of her loss while she is recuperating after the operation.
