LA, I've just checked my new walking boots, all good!
I will probably be buying a couple of bras in the next few days; I will need them in a month or two but have £5 M&S vouchers, and £2 worth of extra points if I order online, so just as well get them now.
Laura, that's really interesting foot information.9 -
We did have snow! Probably 4-5 inches.
What we're in is a big trailer made to be pulled behind a truck. Not a motorhome, but not a van either.
Now, off to hunt down propane...
2023 Fashion on the Ration: Start with 66. Nightdress - 6 = 60 remaining.7 -
@TwibbleDee That sounds so grim, I hope that you can get all the fuel that you need until power is resumed.
On the subject of bras, can anyone with what shall we call a fuller frontage have a recommendation for a type of soft pull on bra? I have an eczema patch right under the area on my back where my bra sits, I am a 34DD and have previously swerved away from such underwear as the ones I tried for my back size had trouble in squashing everything in. My fingers have broken out too, likely caused by the stresses of lockdown, my immune deficiency and close family illness, it will pass I know, but need a little structural support in the meantime LOL.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. That's a "caravan" in Australian and British English. In American English, I'd describe it as a recreation vehicle/RV.
Good luck re the propane...

Just so you know... we're fine, firstly - BUT one of my closest friends is very much not. Her husband and lifelong partner has gone from "totally fine big strong chap" last summer to, as of this morning, into a hospice with multiple incurable cancers; she has just been diagnosed herself and has surgery in the next few weeks. Her outcome looks excellent; his is... short.
I'm incredibly privileged to be supporting her online, but I may be either a bit absent, or more likely my autism will be a lot more visible than usual. So if I sound like I'm being catty or nasty or anything, please be assured I almost certainly will not be meaning to; it's just that I may get very very literal in my use of words.
It's a bit grim. Do make sure you tell your beloveds that you love them, and please please please sort out your will (thankfully, that's something this pair have sensibly sorted out)2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:

Oh, Laura! I am so sorry to hear your news. Your friend must be devastated. You've still got my mobile number haven't you? (if you need a listening ear)
