A buyer bought a very cheap item and asked for a click and collect delivery to an Argos store. I sent.
A return case has been opened and it says “PUDO return”.
I read online this means the buyer didn’t collect so Argos are returning the item. Is that correct?
If that is the case, the bit I don’t understand is the buyer has left positive feedback, so surely they collected it?

It could be the item wasnt taken off the Argos system on collection. So it has automatically updated to returned on the due date.0

So do you think I should contact eBay? The only options it’s giving me is to refund or to say I’ve received the return.0

If it has been returned to you then you have to refund. If the buyer has it then obviously not. Can you message the buyer and confirm they have received it - their reply might help if you then contact ebay.0

What did the feedback comment say - did it give any indication they had received it eg did it say 'lovely item received quickly' or something generic like 'excellent seller'0

I would do nothing, I certainly wouldn't be contacting the buyer yet. Wait and see if anything comes back, if you get it back back and this has been done correctly by ebay through their click and drop system, then you will get a message from ebay reminding you that you have 2 days (I think it is 2 days) to refund. If nothing comes back then you don't have to refund. Usually returns from Argos are fully tracked and returned at ebay's cost so it either gets returned and shows as received back by you, or it doesn't. I assume the address you have registered with ebay is correct as I believe it is returned to that address as it is picked up automatically.
If you were considering contacting the buyer- what purpose would it have? If buyer says yes they are happy with item and they have it, then nothing changes as there will be no refund as there is nothing to return and the system will just time out. If buyer says they couldn't collect it or forgot about it (I gave up with Argos C and C after one disastrous December where half a dozen people just couldn't be bothered to collect the item and they all came back) then how does that help- by contacting the buyer you might start getting them hassling for a refund - at the moment they are staying quiet so leave it be. Never poke a buyer with a stick to wake them up- leave them well alone until they contact you with any problems.
The feedback is meaningless I have both been left feedback and have left it myself mistakenly.

I will just wait and see what happens. The return address was listed on the return and was correct yes, it’s coming via RM and a tracking number has been issued but when ai check that I get no information yet.I did try and get in touch with eBay but when I try there is a yellow box advising they are busy and give me no options to chat or request a call back.Should this show up in the resolution centre? As there’s nothing there. It’s all in emails and they link through to the return.0
