Child's Account

I am looking to open a bank account for my kids they are 5 & 6. They both have the ISA's locked in until they are 18.
I am looking for an account that I can put their Xmas and birthday money etc into until they find what they want to spend it on. All the child accounts seem to start at age 11.
Can anyone recommend an account? Or am I better just opening one for myself and keeping it there?

There are plenty of children's non-ISA savings accounts.
If you are looking for children's accounts with spending cards, a Santander 123 Mini, a Starling Kite, or one of the pre-paid card accounts might fit the bill.0 -
Thanks for that, both need me to have an account with them first, was just looking for a normal account rather than a savings account. Will have a look at the savings though and see what is there.0
