  • Went with the Everbuild 450 in the end, single mum at home so had to rely on Amazon and they didn’t have Dow! Thanks all, really appreciate your help :)
  • Are you brave enough to post the results :-)
  • I am! I think 🤔 haha. Will post as soon as I’ve done it. Going to go round the inside as well, just to be sure!

Hi all, sealed all round window but unfortunately there’s now wet either side of the window frame (along the wall) again. It looks like water is seeping out of the frame itself?

    Many thanks

It’s coming in both sides and the paint is now bubbling on the other side. The corner of the actual frame itself is wet as well. I re-sealed the outside last week.

Do you have condensation In the morning on your windows? Our windows get it a lot and we find it runs down into the corners and we have similar damage in our main bedroom. Reason I ask is because you have similar black bits between the upvc joints on the inside. I’m guessing just a crappy install for us which we will fix with a new window
  • Tsk, woman - you were meant to seal the other side... :-)

The fact you say the corner is wet is what makes me think it’s condensation pooling which is then getting absorbed by the paint / plaster
  • I suspect it's coming through from the outside - the localised nature of the pattern, and its severity.

CatLady, wait until you have a nice dry day that's ideally not finger-numbingly cold, and sort out the outside...

    This!  🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Water gets in from the outside.
