Hermes International lost document
I sent a document to Gibraltar using Hermes International, spending around £25.
It was lost. When I managed to get a response from the 'pa' to the CEO, he accused me of MIS addressing the document! I have the receipt, and was accused of sending my own document to the head office Hermes' internatoonal partners, Landmark, in London.
Needless to say I cannot get any response from this so called pa, or anyone else at Hermes. I don't think it's right that this sort of customer service is allowed without come sort of compensation, especially as the lost document resulted in costs to in excess of £150! Any ideas?

Its pretty simple.
Whats the insurance level on the service you chose?
Im betting that £150 is a consequential loss and not the value of what you sent.
So did you have cover for that?0 -

I was curious about this as I had never heard of Hermes International before.
The Hermes International website is operated by Parcel2go.com Limited(with company number 02591405) under the Hermes brand (which is a trading name of Hermes Parcelnet Limited).
This means that if you use this website you are contracting with Parcel2go.com Limited rather with Hermes.
The registered office address of Parcel2go.com is Coe House, Coe Street, Bolton, BL3 6BU, United Kingdom.

Also, from their Prohibited Items page (https://international.myhermes.co.uk/prohibited-items):
The following items (or any item similar in description or content) can not be carried on any service.
Any person sending such an item may be subject to their order being cancelled without notice:
- Documents (Outside The EU)

Reading the list of items that they do not offer insurance for it lists documents, so you sent it uninsured.0
