Giving a firestick away (any chance of accessing your details?)

So having replaced the 1st gen firestick with the 4K firestick I now have no use for the 1st gen.
I can give this to a relative but i don't particularly want any of my details on there. They did want Kodi on it though.
I went in to the "Account" side of Settings on the actual stick and deregistered my account.
I've gone to Amazon.co.uk and to devices and this confirms that only my 4K firestick is listed, NOT the 1st gen stick.
Is this enough or is the only real way to factory reset and say hop on YouTube yourself to sort your own Kodi?

Factory reset if you like, but makes no difference either way. If they want to load Kodi on it (its not particularly difficult) that's up to them. The only thing the stick would actually hold would be anything cached from the website, so if you sign in on multiple devices and start watching Psycho and then go to bed and look at your Prime on the TV, you'd see you were 62 minutes through the film. That and a load of recommendations for stuff you may or may not also like.1

IF it helps then i factory reset the stick, signed back in as a new user (using my account) once the reset was done. Installed Kodi on it (I know it's not difficult .... i did it after all) for them and then deactivated my account. What I don't know is if anything sensitive from my account can somehow then be accessed. Not saying they would if they could but i'd rather know if it was possible or not.I wouldn't have thought so - since my account has been deactivated off the stick, but as i don't know for 100% certain i'm here asking.0

You don't know the people I'm giving it to for a start plus your firestick lite cost £17 more than this one will. Not sure what APKS is.0

APKs (plural of APK) ... Android Program Package. Basically an application that can be installed on an Android device.0

The firestick does not AFAIK hold anything behind which Amazon account its connected to. I believe if you decide to Buy/Rent a movie through the interface its handled through your account at Amazon's end (much like if you buy a book on a Kindle, the Kindle itself is just another gateway to Amazon content), and then the Firestick just updates it's display to tell you now "own" Shrek 2 or whatever, do you want to watch it now.
