Hotmail - "your request cannot be completed right now"

I am not very good with technology, I have an acer latop Windows 10, firefox browser, I keep deleting emails from my inbox, however, the emails keep reappearing in my inbox, I've deleted cookies, and ran a system scan (bitdefender) system is clear

No matter what folder I click on in Hotmail, all I get is "your request cannot be completed right now"

It's only in the last few days this has happened, I've tried google, to be honest, I don't fully understand what to do, any one know how I can resolve this please?

One reason for getting that message is that you are not connected to the internet or at least the browser you are using cannot access the internet

Thanks for replying, thing is, I am connected to the internet, I'm able to get onto other websites

I've logged out, rebooted, logged back in and it appears to be working now, fingers x, it should be OK
