Some types of checks (e.g. govenment employment related) require a physical printed and posted statement to be provided.RumRat said:Personally, I can't see any need for printed statements in this day and age. They used to just build up in a draw and get dumped every few months...
Not to mention the Planet thing.....
A downloaded pdf statement, which is printed is not good enough, and if it's a pdf they want, it has to be a scan of that posted statement.
I do almost all my banking (with two bricks and mortar banks) on apps, but still have paper statements for my main account sent twice a year.
