Am I allowed to send seller my email address?

Hi, 

I recently purchased an item from a seller. Received item fine, however the seller accidentally sent me two other parcels that should have gone to other buyers. I've told the seller I can post on if they send me the correct postage labels PDFs - but I am not sure whether I am allowed to send the seller my email address through ebay messages? It seems ebay/paypal have removed full email addresses from their interfaces so that isn't an option anymore,

As you have a transaction with the seller you can contact them , I would do it via the contact button from the original listing. That way you can exchange email addresses.

Ebay reject email addresses on their message system so I take a pic of my email and send it as an attachment. Works every time.

I have had to do that before! Sometimes an email can get through if I link it to an original sale, but sometimes, as you say, it just gets rejected and I don't know why.

Actually thinking about this OP, I'd let the seller work it out somehow if you can't get an email through, let them speak to ebay and explain the position - you have told them you have the item and are happy to return it- so let them sort it out.

If it was a business seller their email address may be shown on their contact details on the listing.

Normally, you cannot send email addresses in eBay messages.

The exception is if you have bought / sold something - as stated above, from the item options, choose 'contact buyer' and you can then send a message with email address in

Not any more, the occasional one shows up but it is rare .

Go to order page and choose contact seller from there. Works every time, you can exchange everything including emails, telephone numbers and addresses with the seller.
