I'm writing this on a Raspberry Pi 400 keyboard computer. Costs £93 brand new (and only needs to be connected to a screen - it even supports two screens if you have them. No configuration needed out of the box (except wifi password), just plug it in and it boots up in about 15 seconds. I was dubious about how it would perform but it's absolutely fine for web browsing, playing YouTube videos and music from my NAS. Also comes with LibraOffice installed, which is compatible with MS Office. I wouldn't expect to edit videos or play graphics-intensive games on it but for everyday web browsing, email and the occasional bit of WP or spreadsheeting it's perfect. It really is ridiculously good for the ridiculously low price!poppasmurf_bewdley said:I'm writing this on a 250Gb SSD HP laptop after two years with a 1Tb HDD Toshiba. It cost quite a bit more, but the performance is outstanding. Instead of half an hour with a Microsoft update, it's two or three minutes.
I've had the SSD for 12 months today. Would I do back. Hell, no!1
