You could probably save yourself some money by turning the flow temp down by 10-15 degrees. It might take a bit longer for the place to heat up but you should reduce the boiler cycling and thus the amount of energy that goes up the flue when it winds itself up and down.
It wont cost you anything to see what happens and you might be pleasantly surprised

I agree with this above, I adjusted mine down to something which seems to work ok, can't remember now what to.
The heating engineer came end of September to service the boiler and he asked if I want to keep the settings as he checked them. He agreeded that's fine for the boiler, Worcester Bosch combi. He fitted it some 3 years ago and then he left it on standard, factory recommended settings.

OK, I've just reduced the CH temp to 60C. Lets see how it goes over the next few weeks.

When I had a combi with separate temperature controls I set the tap water dial just above minimum -- about 40 ℃.  The shower could then just be set to maximum heat and it would be the right temperature without needing to adjust the mixer control.  That temperature was also fine for washing up, etc.
  • I know this thread is quite old now but does anyone here know how to get to the 'flow rate' temp control knob for CH hot water in a Worcester Combi Greenstar 28i? I cant see how to access it, and it doesn't show in the manual either I'm looking to check adjust the flow rate temp

It's the r/h knob under the panel.

The one with the tap symbol.
Moneymon555, you do know to drop the cover flap to access the controls?
