Hi
I want to get my hourly usage of my gas and electricity from a Smart Meter such that it feed to an open-source platform like Grafana.
The purpose is to size a solar energy system's requirements.
I am with EON.
Has anyone tried it or such a thing exists. ? Any pointers will help.
TIA

I have no experience but I think Octopus energy give some access
Octopus Energy APIs — Octopus Energy API 1.0 documentation
Also have you seen this thread
Looking for API/Computer access to my data | Community (purepla.net)
Also, could you access the readings from your account? I don't think the SMETS2 network itself is accessible.0 -
I'm not sure you can get direct access to the smart meter as it connects to the Smart Metering Wide Access Network (SMWAN) and it's own Home Area Network (HAN) using the Zigbee protocal for communication with the portable display.
It is possible that your energy provider provides an API that allows access to data collected from the smart meter, as suggested by jsmith9.
A dream is not reality, but who's to say which is which?0 -

I get my data from Hildebrand, you don't even need to purchase a Glow display, you can just follow the process shown here:
Glowmarkt
The process is a little clunky but you should be able to get data going back 13 months, and it's supplier neutral
......or try here, the process is much simpler but you can only get data going back 3 months
