How did he release the boiler pressure to replace the gauge ?Do you have water dripping from the copper pipe outside ? (Tie a small bag over it & see if it gets water in it)

It turned out to be very uninteresting. Two weeks later, noticed damp patches on the kitchen ceiling. It took a while for the damp patches to emerge because for whatever reason, the previous owner had put two layers of plasterboard on the ceiling. Now i am left with holes in the kitchen ceiling that I need to fix
