i've been seeing this offer every time I print a label off for weeks, maybe months. I still don't understand what it means, how do I get it?

It’s absolutely brilliant and even better because you can use the discount for non eBay parcels as well. I continued selling on specialist groups and Facebook up until Sunday and have been sending parcels up to 1kg for £1.45 and large letters for £1.21!

It should be automatic , just go to packlink via the link against the item you want to post click for buy postage, switch from Royal Mail options to Packlink and get a quote. On the packlink page there is a link to add non eBay parcels as well. I will be sorry when the offer ends on the 31st December.

Is the service the same?  If I’ve listed an item and sold it saying I will use Royal Mail can I then use packlink?

    thanks.

You need to be careful, if you have stated RM then switching to a courier is a completely different service and buyers do sometimes get very angry, especially when they know couriers in their area are poor. I switched as many of my items as I could across to just show eBay packlink  , that way I can send either RM or courier as it covers both although I think most buyers will assume it is going by courier. For those that really don’t like couriers and where it is practical, I have also offered RM 1 st class as a separate more expensive option .

For those that bought before I noticed the offer I did email and ask permission, and everyone said yes. I also sent 2 accidentally by Packlink without checking my listing first, and emailed both to apologise for my mistake in not checking first. One was delighted as his item arrived in 2 days rather than the week or so he was expecting for RM and the other just left standard positive feedback after a few days.

I shall miss this offer , the really heavy items are saving me an absolute fortune and just before I closed eBay down for Christmas I sent out a lot of very cheap offers on heavy items and sold some old stock that I had laying around.

Don't forget this offer finished Thursday - this is one offer I really really wish they would extend, I have sent loads of items using it- most of them Facebook sales. Everything I posted up to and including Tuesday 22nd December arrived before Christmas.

I still have a couple of large heavy items I hope to sell while the offer is still on.
