Just going through all the stuff that the solicitors have sent us to sign and return.
The list is...
1. Building Insurance schedule.
2. Original contract.
3. Original TRL executed.
4. Signed Title Plan.
5. Signed Report on Title.
6. Signed SDLT.
We have signed the contract, TR1, Report on Title and SDLT. I'm confused about what they mean by the "signed Title Plan". I cannot see anything in the documentation to sign regarding this. Am I missing something? What should it look like?

Is it the "HM Land Registry Official Copy Of Title Plan"? Are they wanting us to just sign it underneath? There is nowhere to actually sign it. Not sure if this is what they want 🤷♂️

Yes - it's the "HM Land Registry Official Copy Of Title Plan".
I think what the solicitor is saying is that it's important for you to check that the title plan corresponds correctly to the land and house that you've seen and believe you are buying (because the solicitor hasn't visited the property, so has no idea if the title plan accurate.)
So the solicitor wants you to sign the title plan (anywhere on it) as confirmation that you've received it and checked it. It's just for the solicitor's benefit - he/she will keep it in his/her file.

Yes, that's the one.Remember that your solicitor has never seen the property or land that you are purchasing. It's your responsibility to check that the title plan covers everything that you think you're buying and matches all of the features on site.Make sure you check it properly, we quite regularly get threads on here from people trying to sell and only then realising that half the garden that they thought was theirs is still in the previous owners name.2
