Your score isn't important - only your history. Only you see your score - none of the lenders do.Are you on the electoral roll? How long have you been at your current address?
Do you have an existing bank account that's reporting to the credit reference agencies?
Have you checked the three main (free) credit reference agencies to see what information they are showing - are there any negative marks like CCJ's, missed payments or defaulted accounts?0 -
What is wrong with your credit history?
Have you obtained copies of your credit files from Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union?
What data do they show?
Are you registered to vote?
Do you owe a lot?
Have you missed payments or defaulted on accounts in the past?
Do you have any county court judgements against you?
Have you applied for three or more credit scored services / products in the last six months?
Do you have any joint accounts or are your credit files showing any "Financial Associations"?
All of the above affect your credit worthiness.
If you have outstanding debt, defaults, arrears, or court judgements, the first thing to focus on is getting all of this paid off and settled as a priority.
If you've opened any new accounts or applied for credit more than once or twice in the last six months, wait until six months have passed.
Ensure you're registered to vote at your current address.
Close any joint accounts you have with someone you're no longer close to and file "Notice of Disassociations" from them with each of the three UK credit reference agencies - Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union.
Once you've completed all of the above, and have been able to verify that your credit files have updated to show all these changes (you'll need to obtain fresh copies of your credit files and make sure they are accurate again), you should be in a better position to be approved for what you need.1 -

Better title would be "how can I grow my credit history" it will serve you much better in life to ask how can I, rather than can't.1 -

I agree, theres no can't, it is possible to improve the history.
All depends what the OP has tried, maybe they could mention what they have tried.0
