You're talking about ads whilst browsing using Chrome or another browser? Look at Kiwi Browser ... this is Chromium-based but supports extensions - like uBlock Origin.1

or use the supplied samsung browser and turn on ad blocking1

Adguard
https://adguard.com/en/adguard-android/overview.html
Install it run it and forget about it.
Works just fine for me.2 -
Doesn't Adguard only work with a very limited number of browsers (Samsung and Yandex?). If so not good for e.g. Chrome or Edge?0

It's a standalone app and not an extension on link I gave,it's supposed to cover the whole device but it doesn't block YouTube.giraffe69 said:Doesn't Adguard only work with a very limited number of browsers (Samsung and Yandex?). If so not good for e.g. Chrome or Edge?
Definitely works on Android Chrome/Edge/Brave and a few others.1 -
Looking at the blurb it suggests that it creates a pseudo network adapter which sits between the "device" and the actual data connection - i.e. a local VPN - which allows it to filter the traffic.0

I use the supplied Samsung internet browser, and that has an option to 'block ads' - a slider switch to select which method to use (there are about 8 to select from - including Adguard - I have the Adblock Fast slider set but obviously it's a personal choice).1
