Revolut - hard search?

Hi all,
I fancy a Revolut account, I like the idea of the easy investment platform I can use for pocket money etc etc, but - mortgage application will be early next year, so I don’t want any searches on my credit file. I’ve searched, found quite a few conflicting answers , does anybody have first hand definitive proof of wether they credit search?

Revolut is a prepaid account and they don't offer any kind of credit as far as I know. Therefore there's no reason why they should need to do a hard credit search, the application requires only a soft search to verify your existence and address etc electronically, if possible.
However I don't in fact possess any definitive proof of the above.Evolution, not revolution0 -
I think the question is about Revolut stock trading, which also doesn't offer any credit, so no need for a credit check.
As an aside, and it's more of a subject for the Savings & Investments board: I would never use Revolut stock trading as it has a limited range of options and doesn't offer any Funds. Buying individual shares is high risk investing.0 -

No, Revolut is not even a bank. It's an e-money institution. They don't do hard searches as they don't offer any overdraft or other forms of credit.
I opened my Revolut account in 2018 and there was no hard search on any of my files. Neither it shows on any of my credit reports.
